Steroidal anti-inflammatory, indicated in the treatment of

• Inflammatory processes in beef cattle and swine caused by traumatic injuries, bronchopneumonia, osteoarthritic lameness, non-septic arthritis, rheumatism, and discoid lupus erythematosus.
• Metabolic disorders (ketosis in cattle).
• Adjuvant in hypocalcemia, mastitis, metritis in swine and cattle, provided that adequate antibacterial treatment is carried out.
• Allergies, dermatosis, general inflammation, ocular and musculoskeletal conditions in domestic dogs and cats.

FORMULA

Each ml contains: Dexamethasone 21 sodium phosphate: 2 mg, Vehicle q.s.p: 1ml.

DOSAGE PER ANIMAL

As a single dose or daily for 3 to 5 days

Beef cattle: 2.5 to 10 ml, which corresponds to 5 to 20 mg per animal.

Swine: 0.5 to 5 ml, which corresponds to 1 to 10 mg per animal.

Canines: 0.35 to 0.75 ml per 10 kg of body weight, which corresponds to 0.07 to 0.15 mg per kg of body weight.

Domestic felines: 0.2 to 0.75 ml per 10 kg of body weight, which corresponds to 0.04 to 0.15 mg per kg of body weight.

WARNINGS

Do not use this product 35 days before the slaughter of animals intended for human consumption. Do not administer to cows producing milk for human consumption. Do not use this product in immunocompromised animals, or for prolonged periods without the supervision of a veterinarian. Except for emergency therapy, do not use in animals with chronic nephritis and hyperadrenocorticalism (Cushing's syndrome). It is relatively contraindicated in cases of diabetes, osteoporosis, and congestive heart failure. Do not administer to pregnant females. Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and/or pets. Dispose of empty and/or leftover containers in accordance with local ecological regulations.
