Fiprosules Spray

For the prevention and control of myiasis (screwworm, maggots) (parasitosis by Cochliomyia hominivorax) in all types of wounds. The formulation has antiseptic, hemostatic, and astringent properties, forming a thin protective layer over the wound, which allows for rapid healing.

Each 100 g of concentrate contains:

Fipronil 1.0 g
Silver Sulfadiazine 0.312 g
Aluminum 9.375 g

Each aerosol contains:

Concentrate: 160 g/165 ml
Propellant (propane:butane): 160 g/286 ml

Administration route and dosage:

SHAKE BEFORE USE.

Topical application. Spray the wound or myiasis abundantly from a distance of 10 to 15 cm. In the case of deep myiasis, it is recommended to clean the wound of larvae and apply the product so that it reaches the deepest parts of the lesion in addition to covering the affected area. The repetition of the application will depend on the healing time; the protective layer that forms after application maintains optimal conditions for healing for approximately 1 week.

Avoid inhalation, apply preferably with the wind at your back. The use of gloves is recommended for application. Wash hands with soap and water after handling the product. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling.
