Description:
An antiparasitic for the treatment and control of internal parasites (nematodes or roundworms) such as:
Gastrointestinal parasites (adult forms and fourth larval stage) including: Ostertargia ostertargi (including inhibited forms). Ostertagia lyrata, Haemonchus contortus, Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus axei, Cooperia pectinata, Cooperia oncophora, Cooperia punctata, Bunostomum phlebotomum.
Lung parasites: Dictyocaulus viviparus. As well as in the treatment and control of ectoparasites, such as:
Flies: Larval stage of Dermatobia hominis, Hypoderma bovis, Hypoderma lineatum and an aid in the control of hematophagous flies Haematobia irritans and Stomoxys calcitrans.
Lice: Linognatus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus, Solenoptes capillatus, Damalina bovi.
Mange mites: Psoroptes communis var bovis, Sarcoptes scabiei vas bovis, Chorioptes bovis. It is indicated for the prevention of navel ill in newborn calves and wound infections after castration.
FORMULA:
Each 100 ml contain:
- Ivermectin ………………………….. 3500 mg.
- Vehicle q.s. ………………………. 100.0 ml.
USE IN:
Cattle (beef producers).
DOSAGE:
Cattle: 1 ml per 50 kg of weight (0.70 mg/kg of weight), do not exceed quantities greater than 10 ml in the same application area.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTE:
Subcutaneous injection in the scapular (shoulder) area or in the neck.
ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY:
Studies indicate that when ivermectin comes into contact with soil, it binds quickly and firmly to it, a process that inactivates it.
Empty containers should be safely destroyed (e.g., by incineration or burial) as free ivermectin can adversely affect fish or aquatic organisms.
COMPATIBILITY:
It does not interfere with the immunity of treated animals; the product can be administered simultaneously with vaccines.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Animals whose meat is intended for human consumption may only be slaughtered 122 days after the date of treatment.
Do not use in lactating cows whose milk is intended for human consumption.
WARNINGS:
Keep out of reach of children.
Keep away from food and drinks.
Should not be administered intravenously.
Wash hands after handling the product.
Store in a cool, dry place and protected from sunlight.
This medication should not be used for the treatment of infestations by Boophilus spp. ticks.
