Meta-Flusol

Muscle relaxant, anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic. META-FLUSOL® contains methocarbamol (a guaifenesin carbamate derivative), induces muscle relaxation without altering tone, is long-lasting, and acts against muscle spasms.

Flumethasone is an anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic glucocorticoid which, together with methocarbamol, is the drug of choice for the treatment of musculoskeletal system problems. In horses, it is indicated for the treatment of tetanus, hemoglobinuric myositis (Monday morning disease), muscle trauma, bursitis, synovitis, and fibrosis. In canines and felines, it is used for intervertebral disc syndrome, compressive myelitis, spinal cord injuries, postoperative muscle spasms, myositis, and bursitis.

USE IN:

Cattle, horses, sheep, pigs, canines, felines.

DOSAGE:

• Horses and beef cattle: 15 to 20 ml.
• Foals and calves: 10 to 15 ml.
• Pigs and sheep: 10 ml.
• Canines and felines: 3 to 5 ml.
  
  

In all cases every 12 to 24 hours.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:

Intravenous (very slow application) or intramuscular.

WARNINGS:

Withdrawal period: Do not use 10 days before slaughter of animals intended for human consumption. Do not use this product in dairy cattle. This medication is for exclusive veterinary use. Use sterile material for each application. Consult your veterinarian. Do not use the meat of horses treated with this product for human consumption. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. Keep at temperatures between 15° and 30°C. Do not administer to horses intended for human consumption. Veterinary Use. Prescription required.
