Catofos B9 + B12

Catofos B +B is indicated when phosphorus supplementation is required to improve the animal's condition and optimize production, provided that the concomitant administration of the 9 12 vitamins present in the formula is required.

Specific cases include:

- Acute metabolic diseases and disorders.

- Hypocalcemia (associated with calcium therapy), decreased appetite and milk yield, acetonemia (associated with specific therapy), physical exhaustion, stress states, weakness and diseases of newborns, joint and musculoskeletal disorders (associated with specific treatment), intoxications (associated with specific treatment).

- Chronic diseases and chronic metabolic disorders.

- Developmental disorders, cachexia, malnutrition, parasitism (associated with antiparasitic drugs), decreased productive and/or physical performance, nervous disorders (associated with specific therapy), overwork, fatigue and physical exhaustion.

- Anemias: Primary: macrocytic or megaloblastic, providing the necessary antianemic factor for normal erythropoiesis; anemias consecutive to serious parasitism, hemorrhages and other secondary factors.

- Prevention of reproductive diseases.

- Prevention of metabolic diseases associated with calving (with the consequent prevention of subsequent reproductive and fertility problems). These include: hypocalcemia, ketosis, ovarian cysts. Deficiencies of the components of Catofos B +B ® have been shown to be the cause of: 9 12 abortion, premature placental abruption, neural tube defects, neuropathy and behavioral alterations.

- Treatment in healthy animals.

- To improve muscle performance in racehorses, fighting cocks, fighting bulls, dogs and other recreational and sport animals; to improve the reproductive efficiency of males and females; in dairy cows subjected to the intense effort of high production; to improve the general condition of animals; and, to prepare animals to participate in
exhibitions.

Injectable Solution - Veterinary Use

Organic phosphorus stimulant with hematopoietic vitamins

Formulation

Phosphonous acid [1-(n-Butylamino)-1-methylethyl](Butafosfan) 10 g, Vitamin B (folic acid) 1.5 g 9, Vitamin B (cyanocobalamin) 5 mg 12, Excipients q.s. 100 mL, 100 mL of solution contain 1.73 g of phosphorus.

Dosage and Administration

Intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous route. Shake before use.

Cattle 10 - 25 mL, Dairy cows before calving 20 mL in the 6th and 4th week before calving, Calves 5 - 12 mL, Volumes greater than 20 mL should be divided into two application sites if using the intramuscular or subcutaneous route.

If necessary, the injection can be repeated daily. In cases of chronic problems, administer several times at the discretion of the veterinary doctor, with intervals of 3 to 7 days at half the doses indicated above.

In healthy animals, apply half of the indicated dose.
