Equest Gel
Description:
Equest is one of the few licensed to control encysted larval stages of small redworm in a single dose.
it has 13-week anti-parasitic activity after dosing so helps to keep pastures from becoming contaminated. equest is also less toxic to dung beetles and other insects, so they can continue breaking down the manure in the field.
use equest pramox if tapeworm control is needed.
it is suitable for foals over four months old and pregnant mares.
one tube of equest will treat a horse up to 700kg
equest's dosing interval is the longest of any equine wormer at 13 weeks.
do not use equest in donkeys
equest is the only equine wormer with a 2-week persistent action and treats all common equine worms including bots (bot fly larvae) and developing and inhibited encysted small redworm at the standard dose. equest is licensed to control some resistant strains of cyathostomins.
please note all wormers must be prescribed by a licensed vet.
