Strepto LER 6MUI

Strepto LER Extra Forte 6MUI is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections complicated with inflammatory processes caused by microorganisms sensitive to the Penicillin - Streptomycin - Dicloxacillin combination such as: Streptococci, Pneumococci, Staphylococci, Corynebacterium, Pasteurella, Haemophilus, Klebsiella and in all those respiratory disease processes sensitive to the formula that present with fever, weakness and mucus, helping expectoration and rapid control of the infection. It also has therapeutic value in affections of the gastrointestinal system, urogenital organs, mammary gland, muscular system, clostridiasis, septicemic infections and those associated with surgical or traumatic wounds affecting cattle (beef and dairy), horses not intended for human consumption, sheep (meat), goats (meat and dairy) and dogs.

FORMULA:
- Vial with sterile powder with 12 g contains: Penicillin G benzathine 4,000,000 IU, Penicillin G procaine 2,000,000 IU, Streptomycin sulfate 4 g, Dicloxacillin sodium 200 mg, Diclofenac sodium 90 mg.
- Vial with sterile diluent contains: Chlorpheniramine maleate 38 mg, Metamizole sodium 790 mg, Guaifenesin 380 mg, Sodium ascorbate (Vitamin C) 490 mg, Vehicle c.b.p 30 ml.

DOSAGE: 1 to 2 ml/20 kg of body weight (equivalent to 10,000 IU to 20,000 IU of Penicillin G Benzathine and Procaine/kg; 6.66 mg to 13.32 mg of Streptomycin/kg; 0.33 to 0.66 mg of Dicloxacillin/kg; 6.66 to 13.32 mg of Diclofenac/kg; 0.063 to 0.126 mg of Chlorpheniramine maleate/kg; 1.31 to 2.62 mg of Metamizole sodium/kg; 0.63 to 1.26 mg of Guaifenesin/kg; 0.816 to 1.63 mg of Sodium ascorbate/kg of body weight), every 24 hours for 3 to 7 days.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Deep intramuscular exclusively.

STORAGE:
- Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature between 15 and 30 °C.
- Protect from direct sunlight.
- Once mixed, store in refrigeration between 2 and 8 °C, for 7 days.
- Dispose of by incineration.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
- Do not use this product in horses for human consumption.
- Do not consume meat from cattle, sheep and goats until 30 days after the last treatment with Estrepto Ler Extra Forte 6 MUI.
- Do not consume milk from animals treated with Estrepto Ler Extra Forte 6 MUI until 3 days after the last treatment.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Do not administer sodium sulfas concomitantly.
- Do not administer to animals with renal insufficiency.

WARNINGS:
- As with any drug, allergic or hypersensitivity reactions may occur.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
