Description:

FOSFOSAN is indicated for cattle (dual-purpose) and pigs (meat and breeding stock) for the prevention and treatment of phosphorus, selenium, magnesium, copper, and potassium deficiencies, and their consequences such as osteomalacia, rickets, nutritional infertility syndrome, muscular dystrophy, retained placenta, nervous disorders, and hypomagnesemic tetany.

 

Recommended for:

  • Cattle (dual-purpose) and pigs (meat and breeding stock)

 

FORMULA

Each 100 mL contains:

Sodium glycerophosphate 5.5 H2O

 14.00 g
Monosodium phosphate 2 H2O 20.10 g
Copper chloride 2 H2O 0.40 g
Potassium chloride 0.60 g
Magnesium chloride 6 H2O 2.50 g
Sodium selenate 0.24 g
Vehicle q.s. 100 ml

 

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Adult cattle 10 ml, calves 5 ml
Pigs: 5 ml
Administer as a single dose. Treatment may be repeated after 15 days depending on the animal's nutritional status. The duration of treatment will be at the recommendation of the Veterinarian.

WARNINGS

  • Apply strict aseptic measures.
  • May cause slight edema or inflammation at the application site, which disappears quickly.
  • Keep in its original container, tightly closed.
  • Store at no more than 30°C, protected from direct sunlight.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
