Bovine Grofactor
Description:
It is indicated for finishing cattle in feedlots, to improve feed conversion efficiency, weight gain, carcass yield, and reduce fat accumulation.
1KG / Zilpaterol hydrochloride 4.8% + Excipient cbp 1000 g
Dose;
Administer continuously for 30 days during the finishing phase: 125 g of Grofactor® per ton of feed (90% dry matter); this is equivalent to a dose of 0.15 mg/kg in 400 kg animals consuming 10 kg of feed daily.
For a more precise calculation of the amount of Grofactor to include in the diet, the following formula can be used.
3.125 (Constant) x Average body weight (kg)
__________________________________________ = Grams of Grofactor® per ton of feed. Average feed consumption (kg)
Oral Administration (mixed in feed).
WARNINGS
Avoid ingestion, inhalation, and contact with skin and eyes. The active substance in Grofactor® is zilpaterol hydrochloride, a potent beta2-adrenergic agonist. In case of accidental eye contact, wash thoroughly with water. In severe cases of ingestion or inhalation, consult a doctor and show them the product formula; in such cases, a beta2-adrenergic agonist, such as propranolol, may be useful under medical supervision.
Grofactor® has an anti-dust excipient to reduce the risk of intoxication by inhalation; however, during handling, it is recommended to use protective equipment (dedicated clothing, gloves, filtered mask, and goggles).
The presence of micro-tracers in Grofactor® allows tracing the product in the premixes and feeds, which facilitates its management by the user in the feedlot.
For prolonged storage, until its expiry date, keep in a cool, dry place, perfectly sealed at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Under extreme climatic conditions (50°C and 90% humidity), Grofactor® remains stable for at least 3 months.
Keep out of reach of children and pets, as well as untrained persons.
Withdrawal period: Treatment must be discontinued at least 72 hours (3 days) before animal slaughter for human consumption.
