Screwworm Myiasis

Miasis is indicated as an antiseptic and anti-myiasis for the treatment of castration wounds, umbilical cord care in newborns, screwworm infestations, and wounds in general.
The synergy of the larvicides contained in Miasis is responsible for eradicating screwworm infestations or cutaneous myiasis and providing an acaricidal effect, in addition to being an adjuvant in wound healing and insect repellency.

Formula: (100ml Solution)
Permethrin 1.5g
Fipronil 1.5g
Phenol 1g
Tannic Acid 1g
Camphor 2g
Vehicle q.s. 100ml

Dosage and Administration:

• Apply Miasis to the affected area and/or around the previously cleaned and dried wound.
• At a distance of 20cm from the area being treated.
• Normally one application is sufficient.
• If necessary, repeat at 24-hour intervals.
• In the case of screwworm infestations where the opening is oriented downwards, apply the product and keep the animal lying down for at least 3 minutes so that the product reaches the lower layers.
  
  

Warnings:

1. Keep out of reach of children.
2. Store in a cool, dry place, protected from sunlight.
3. Like all insecticides, it should be handled carefully.
4. In case of accidental ingestion and/or skin contact, seek medical attention immediately.

Withdrawal Period:
No withdrawal period.
