Description:
PIROFLOX® 10%: Broad-spectrum bactericide and mycoplasmacide indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases in poultry (broilers), pigs, and cattle (beef and dairy) caused by Gram-negative, Gram-positive, and mycoplasma germs, whether simple or mixed, such as: Escherichia coli, Enterobacter spp, Klebsiella spp, Proteus spp, and Corynebacterium spp, Salmonella spp, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Haemophilus psp, Pasteurella multocida, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Staphylococcus spp, Streptococcus spp, and Mycoplasma spp. Its formulation allows the product to be used parenterally or in drinking water. FORMULA
Enrofloxacin: 100 mg, Vehicle q.s.p: 1 ml.
DOSAGE
Intramuscular
- Poultry: Administer 5 to 10 mg/kg of body weight, equivalent to 0.05 to 0.1 mL per kg of body weight for 3 to 5 consecutive days.
- Pigs: 1 mL per 40 kg of body weight (2.5 mg/kg of body weight) for 3 to 5 consecutive days. Subcutaneous:
- Cattle: 1 to 3 mL per 40 kg of body weight (2.5 to 7.5 mg/kg of body weight), at the discretion of the veterinarian for 3 to 5 consecutive days. See attached instructions.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION
Intramuscular in pigs and poultry. Subcutaneous in cattle.

WARNINGS
This is a veterinary product, not for human use. Store at room temperature not exceeding 30°C and protect from light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not administer volumes greater than 5 mL in pigs and 15 mL in cattle at the same application site. Do not administer to poultry producing eggs for human consumption.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Poultry intended for human consumption must not be slaughtered for at least 5 days after the last administration. In the case of cattle and pigs, this period must be at least 14 days. Milk withdrawal period: 84 hours (3.5 days) after the last treatment.
