Proteizoo Plus

Proteizoo® Plus acts as a nonspecific immunostimulant by activating the defense system and achieving control of acute and chronic infectious processes in combination with the antimicrobial of choice. Adjuvant in the treatment of bronchopulmonary infections, skin infections, arthritis, mastitis, keratitis or cloudy eye, and in conditions of viral etiology.

Formula:

Each 100 mL contains:

Casein…………………………………….3.5 g

Lactose…………………………………….5.0 g

Excipient q.s.p………………………100 mL

Dosage and administration route:
Cattle and horses: 1.4 mg/kg (practical dose 2 mL/50 kg)

Pigs: 2 mg/kg (practical dose 3 mL/50 kg)

Sheep and goats: 4.5–6.3 mg/kg (practical dose 1.3–1.8 mL/10 kg)

Poultry (breeders, broilers and backyard poultry): 14 mg/kg (practical dose 0.4 mL/kg).

One dose every 72 hours for up to five applications until symptoms disappear or at the discretion of the Veterinarian.

Dogs: 5.8–7 mg/kg (0.16–0.20 mL/kg) once a day, for 5 days.

Cats: 7 mg/kg (0.20 mL/kg) once a day, for 5 days.

Administration route: Intramuscular or subcutaneous.

Precautions:

Like any drug, it can cause anaphylactic or hypersensitivity reactions. Antidote: epinephrine. Do not use this product in horses intended for human consumption. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Storage conditions: Store in a cool, dry place. Store at a temperature between 10 °C and 30 °C. Protect from direct sunlight. Once used, incinerate the bottle and leftovers.
