Tigent

Tigent is indicated for cattle, sheep, and goats (milk and meat producers), fattening pigs, and poultry (broilers and turkeys) for the treatment of infectious diseases such as salmonellosis, necrotic enteritis, respiratory disease, metritis, pneumonia, erysipelas, infectious arthritis, and other ailments caused by microorganisms sensitive to the formula, such as Pasteurella multocida.

Each mL contains:

Tylosin base
(as Tylosin tartrate) ……………………………………. 200 mg

Gentamicin base
(as Gentamicin sulfate) ………………………………. 80 mg

Excipient q.s.p. ………………….….…….... 1 mL

Cattle: 20 mg tylosin and 8 mg gentamicin per kg of body weight (2 mL/120 kg), pigs, sheep and goats: 10 mg tylosin and 4 mg gentamicin per kg of body weight (1 mL/20 kg), every 24 hours for 3 to 5 days. Poultry (broilers and turkeys): 500 mg tylosin and 200 mg gentamicin per liter of water (2.5 mL/liter of water) for 3 to 5 days.

Administration route: Intramuscular and oral.
